Meet Bronson

bronBronson Acquin – Mandiosodza is a proud member of the Maliseet First nation and the Shona tribe of Zimbabwe Africa.

He has been participating in traditional ceremonies as a fire keeper, lodge apprentice and helped in the revival of the coming of age ceremonies in Maliseet territory.

Bronson has been dancing and performing his traditional dance style since the time he could walk. He was a performer in the opening ceremonies for the 2014 Indigenous games, in Regina Saskatchewan, and a member of the International indigenous arts program. While in Regina he was also hand picked by Juno award winning band “Digging Roots” to dance on there live to air broadcast with APTN.

Bronson is currently studying theatre with Tania Breen at Theatre New Brunswick and looks forward to a lifelong carrier in the arts.
